The softened lines and geometric shaping of Tranquilities imply serenity that balances the movement suggested by burled veneers and the collection’s antiqued finish. Uniting Contemporary and Asian design elements, Tranquilities features parquet tops with burl veneers, block feet, rectangular shaping and tabbed pendants of hardware with a burnished coppery finish, to capture the attention of those who prefer simplicity with an equal measure of enthusiasm. A ringed, cone-shaped table in the collection reveals its parquet burl inlay under a glass top. Simple linear shaping contrasts with soft curves – in dining chair backs, or in cabinetry of case pieces.
